And we will keep in mind these factors such as basic amenities :
In Kenya :
- Runda/Karen/Kitusuru has better roads because of creation of estate communities. In places the roads are bad enough that you need a 4X4. The local council/govt does nothing about the infrastructure.
- Water. Nearly all have boreholes. Cost of borehole I'm told is around a million Ksh.
- Electricity. Nearly all have generators, thus add fuel costs. Nothing to add here.
- Security. ALL have the high fences, barbed wire, alarm and security backup
- Kibera
- Mukuru
- Muthurwa and Mathare
- Kangemi
- Not to forget very close to state house, there are such places too.
Are we still going to deny that the property boom situation is not real? While we have large amounts of poverty, the reverse is going on in the property industry.
Some amatuer thots from me. :-)

@Peter, it is absolutely essential to whine on the property subject..... :-)
So Runda/Kitusuru = Over a Million bucks in property prices!
In Seychelles, which I belive would be an ideal destination for those coming from colder climates, a Million USD will buy you this :
Let me get some time and I'm going to compile the 1 Million Dollar porpoerties around the world.
