(The "Company")
and

Following approval of your Shell Employment/Training Application and having considered your work experience, skills and some core values found in your application, the SHELL GROUP is pleased to offer you training for the position of EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT which leads to instant employment on the following terms and conditions:
1.0: EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING CONTRACT DETAILS:
STARTING MONTHLY SALARY (TAX FREE)
£3,500.00 GBP
TRAINING DURATION
Two (2) Months
EMPLOYMENT COMMENCEMENT DATE
5th January, 2015
CONTRACT TERMINATION DATE
4th January, 2018
2.0: EXTENTION OF CONTRACT PERIOD:Shell may, at its discretion, retain you as permanent staff upon its determination that you have met the performance targets set for you as well as your contributions to the growth of the company.
3.0: TRAINING PERIOD:
Training period is eight (8) weeks. The company shall provide full salary throughout this period. Employment with full benefits commences after successful completion of training.
4.0: TRAINING LOCATION:
You are to report at the Shell Training & Conference Center - London, SE1 7NA, United Kingdom not later than 3rd November, 2014 to commence training.
5.0: HOURS OF WORK:You will work Mondays through Fridays from 0800h through 1700h with the lunch break between 1300h – 1400h. You are expected to work for eight (8) hours every day i.e. forty (40) hours per week as well as when required, to complete critical training tasks as required. Overtime is paid only in exceptional circumstances and prior approval is essential.
6.0: LEAVE:Ten (10) days Leave/Break after every 90 Working days will be allowed to you with leave allowance of £2,000.00. Annual accumulated leave cycle or vacation goes with leave/travel allowance of £5,000.00 and first class return ticket for you and three members of your family i.e. spouse and two children under age of eighteen. Leave encashment may also be permitted at management discretion.
7.0: BENEFITS AND ENTITLEMENTS:You are entitled to free and furnished accommodation at the staff quarters within the Shell Estate, an official car, comprehensive health care services at the Shell Medical Center for you and your family, life insurance, pension scheme, education allowance up to £10,000 for children per annum, a mobile phone and a choice of personal computer from among four predefined configurations: PC desktop, notebook, Macintosh desktop, or Macintosh laptop. Our IT department configures all systems with a standard set of software that supports basic functions such as email, web access, telnet access, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation.
8.0: GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT:You are entitled to study allowance of £3,500 per annum and eligible to apply for other vacancies or change to another position or department after 6 months of working with us.
9.0: FLIGHT TICKET, TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE:Your employment goes with an economy class air ticket for you and your family (spouse with two children up to age of eighteen).
It is important to note that you will require a UK Visa and Work Permit to be able to come here and commence training/work. The Company will provide relocation/travel allowance, work permit and also assist with other visa supporting documentation. Be informed that you have 14 days to process and forward your visa proof as instructed from our Headquarters. 9.1. REIMBURSEMENT OF VISA AND OTHER TRAVEL RELATED EXPENSES
The Employee will be responsible for his/her visa related expenses at the moment and submit payment proof for the purpose of reimbursement. All expenses made by the Employee will be fully reimbursed on arrival. The Company will provide Relocation Allowance/Reimbursement Application Forms for the Employee to complete and return to our Accounts Department for approval. Once approved, the Company will authorize her Bank to transfer funds to any Bank Account designated by the Employee. For no reason should the Employee request that the Company should take care of such expenses as such requests will certainly be turned down. This is sequel to the Company's past experiences with some fraudulent applicants from Africa where the Company took responsibilities of all their visa/Immigration expenses, paid them their relocation allowances and till date, none of these applicants showed up. The contact numbers and emails they submitted are out of use at this time, we are currently battling this case with their various Embassies here in London at the London City Crown Court. For this reason, the Company revised her International Recruitment Policies which entails that all foreign applicants MUST bear all immigration costs and on arrival, present proof of expenses incurred or payments made and will be reimbursed accordingly. Any Employee who finds this unbearable should forfeit this opportunity immediately.You shall not part with any of the company’s information to any outside person or organization. Breach of this condition shall be considered as a serious offence, which may necessitate suitable action being taken by the company against you.
11.0: COMPENSATION CLAUSE
In case you resign or otherwise wish to leave the service of the company before completing one full year of service under any circumstances whatsoever. You shall compensate the company for:[a] Joining expenses incurred on you by the company and
[b] Three month’s salary [salary that will be retained up to two years as a security and after successful completion of three years shall be reimbursed].
12.0: TERMINATION:This contract can be terminated by either party on given three months notice in writing. In case of termination of employment by the employer on disciplinary grounds, only a week notice period shall be given.
