You will have to take care of the events that will trigger charging on your end before calling on the sdk to do it's magic. PS : By "shortcodes", I take it that you are into Mobile Services OpCo-speak. What service are you looking at? - SMS? USSD? Voice? The reason I ask is: I think that some services are popularly charged via UCIP rather than Diameter.
