I can attest to that. I received similar emails on my yahoo and hotmail accounts.

The only way to make this email multiply, is by replying to the sender.

The other reason why it is multiplying in Skunkworks is because someone replied to the message  and since there are many listers, it sends the message to all the their accounts.

Hv you confirmed the headers. There is no Email Service Provider (ESP) that warranty's about your personal account security be it commerical or free if they do so they lie. Its wrong to sta the spam is limited  to google, I hv seen samples from hotmail & other domains too. Their is a possibility this is an outbreak of a worm thats collecting addreses , high chances is that the email has not originated from google either.. its jst using a spoofed address.
