Seagate drives have rarely failed me. However, you'd perhaps like to ask the original poster why he is specific about Transcend. Transcend have a lifetime warranty (terms & conditions apply of course). Goldcrest sells ORIGINAL Transcend products. FYI, I have always used flash disks and Mem cards (SD/MicroSD/Flash) from them and I am 100% sure that if such fail, they replace it. I am not vouching for them for nothing.
That "another seller" could be selling Transc3nd or Transcent packaged as Transcend:-)
