[Skunkworks] Flex Adobe Air Runtime

Flex gurus? If I have the Flex SDK, do I need to install the Adobe Air runtime? There is a .air app I want to run and it does require I install adobe runtime and I am not sure I need to download it if I already have the sdk. Thanx in advance.
