Hi Skunkworld, I have a colleague whose laptop cannot allow use of an Orange modem. She was using a Safaricom modem previously but when she tries to use the Orange modem, it gives a "No connection" message. She took her laptop and modem back to the store where they tested the modem on another laptop and it was working fine, but on her laptop, it doesn't work. They even used a different orange modem on her laptop to no avail. She bought her laptop from Safaricom. She has since contacted them although they claim that they do not lock laptops.
