Hi guys?
Wat about red hat 5.3?
Hi James,
It should be easy to use the modems on Linux. At lest I know Ubuntu and fedora will pick the modems automatically. I am not sure about Suse. Have you tried to just connect it and see whether it appears under networks? Some time back one had to type the command wvdial and this would connect the modem.

I was wondering.
Is there a way to configure a safaricom or orange modem to be used in linux.
To be specific, Opensuse Linux.
Thanks in advance.
Please, anybody help!
