I once messed up with G-HANZ dvd player in the same way, but the solution was one i couldn't think off, was so simple but required your imagination and/or having known how and where menu a,b,c are. I took it back to the seller and scrolled matching with another dvd player to restore my DVD player, .....then. Was on warranty BTW.
