Mpesa for Online payment?? For now its at your own risk. If you want to trade with mpesa in your small business the best thing would be to signup for an account with paybill-mpesa. When signed up you will be the only one who can reverse a transaction or any errors in payment. But for the sim based one reversals are all over and there are too many conmen out there doing it. Theres is no API yet for Mpesa but the ZAP one is pretty good for system integration(but can be improved), which means that for your online payments youre given a ready platform to hook up to your web/trading portal.

I agree with Dennis, become an mpesa partner.. that is what the
Paybill function is all about (reversal of a paybill transaction is
not possible by a customer, if he/she calls customer care they will be
referred to the company they made the payment to).
