AD requires proper DNS setup. I was testing it out in my virtual environment before deploying in the live. It is a Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard server with DS and AD installed on it. I used some youtube videos to set up the environment but now when I want to add machines to the domain I get and SRV record error. I have attached a screenshot of the error that I get as well as an nslookup for the same server from the Windows XP machine joining the domain.
