I have been seriously thinking about going to take one at the British Council soon. I did an online test some time while I was still in college and it showed (most likely cheated) me that I am actually smarter than Richard P. Feynman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Feynman 

Feynman is considered to be the Greatest Scientific mind since Albert Einstein yet the only time he took an I.Q test, it was recorded at being 128, just two units shy of being considered a genius. 

<tangent> Stephen Hawking once said that if you have to measure you I.Q then you are really not smart enough ..... :-D </tangent> 

The point is, I.Q or any other measures of intelligence are really irrelevant to whatever you do or how well you can learn.
