Kenya is on track, with a proposed Public- Private Partnership 4G network that seeks to have a countrywide 4G network , which is open to more than mobile operators. This will be in a similar model to TEAMS, with the aim being to reduce the cost of roll out and ensure that 4G is not rolled out to the "data belt" with other areas being ignored. It will also see several oeprators launching and offering services at the same time, thus bringing about competition
