Been wrestling with BigTable for a while now because of appengine. Everything works fine till you need to implement a one-to-many or many-to-many relationship (no joins in NoSQL dbs). Heh.<br><br>NoSQL is useful for massively distributed storage systems like Google&#39;s or AWS. I found the science in <a href="http://labs.google.com/papers/bigtable-osdi06.pdf">this document</a> especially illuminating.<br>
