The MTA is used for MMS IF (MultiMedia Messaging International Forwarding). It connects to the MMC (Multi Media Center) for MM4 interface. This is where we send Multimedia Messages from one operator to another. Like send MMS from Safaricom to MTN etc . The MTA then connects to a GRX (International MMS gateway) on the other end. GRX here is like France Telecom , Belgacom etc
MMC---->MTA---->GRX
All those other details aside, we are talking about the MTA, right? Now, from my little knowledge, there is not much difference in functionality (not implementation!) between Postfix, Exim, Sendmail, Qmail or even M$exchange. So what is your question, again? :) -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube
