Its very possible, I do it all the time lakini everyone is not like me so i know the big difference....If i could, i would train every kenyan to be nice, but my scope is limited right now
Hi Paul,
I highly respect everyone in this forum and their opinions, however in the past few months I have been silently reading articles being circulated in this forum and am left wondering if some of us would adopt better ways of marketing their products and services in this forum.
Hmm...someone perhaps need to define what can and what can't be discussed on this forum, but from my own analysis, the problems only get raised here as a last resort, and as a means to compare notes.
Allow me to point out some of the most annoying marketing gimmicks; I have noticed, people bashing other respected companies complaining of this service and that not working but secretly fronting their solutions. I have read the thread on KDN services and it holds no water. Likewise I have noted the same with the Telcos.
When I raised the issue about KDN, it is because I pay them USD 1,189/mo for a 256kbps link and I have problems using this link because of various factors within KDN itself. Now, when you say it holds no water, you simply piss me off, but I believe I shouldn't because you are not in a position to feel the frustrations, given that you perhaps live in Utopia. And just for the record, I am not marketing any product, or even myself, to anyone! I haven't seen anyone on this list doing that, or maybe I am just not quite as perceptive to the "marketing" bit.
Whereas we all deserve better if not best service from our vendors, I believe there are proper channels to present our grieviences to the concerned parties without involving everybody and mud slinging tactics. Some of the issues are trival and could be resolved in a phone call.
You are right and wrong. Don't attempt to trivialize what someone has failed to stomach any longer. We also know that we can make phone calls and even use e-mail. It's not like we start here, then realize there are other media to use.
If you want to sell or present your solution or if you are looking for a job and would like to market your skills, I would urge you to present such in a dignified manner.
And who did that?
