Hallo @Peter, I've got a tiny background on older systems i.e .asp and access. The main reason i think web is anti-programming is that most of the programming language enhancements will never be fully utilized. Therefore, you find that vendors are writing newer ways to deal with the issue. Hobbyist view? Pls correct as necessary. :-)
