I did a small comparison on the FTAs from the 5 African Countries that GoTV support (My interest lies solemnly on FTA channels) Here's what I found out (from the GoTV website):
*NIGERIA* NTA+ (FTA), Silverbird (FTA), AIT (FTA), Channels (FTA), MiTV (FTA), Lagos TV (FTA)
*KENYA* KBCTV (FTA)
*NAMIBIA* ZNBC (FTA)
*UGANDA (FTA)* Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (FTA)
*ZAMBIA* ZNBC* *(FTA)
With the above analysis, only Nigeria enjoys more than 5 FTA channels, which means the rest of the countries that have GoTV are stuck with their National Channels if one fails to pay for the monthly subscription. *I'M NOT A TV FAN, OR EVEN HAVE AN UNDERSTAND ON HOW CHANNELS ARE CLASSIFIED AS FTAs, *but I thought all local channels that make a penny through ads should be FTAs.

This is propaganda!!, When analogue is switched off "mwananchi" will still have access because he will have bought DVB-T2. All local FTA (over 10 channels) are being aired by KBC under Signet
