I was going to say that audio from TV to HT is via optical. I've not yet encountered a setup where it goes via HDMI so this will be my first. Job, is it that someone with a Sony TV will get the sound into the Sony HT? Is that via HDMI? In a different case, I have a Dell Hybrid 140 with HDMI output. When I connect it to the TV, there is video but no sound!! I guess I have to connect the optical as well, somehow, but I always thought HDMI should carry both sound+picture (video)... Mine does register under HDMI but my TV sends out Digital audio via optical which the HT doesn't have. I now want to stick to same brands to reduce my visit to google. Sound wise its good just that small draw back.
