I understand there's going to be a 3D theatre at the Junction once the extension that is being constructed is complete. Can't wait! Brian On Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 12:46 PM, ndungu stephen <ndungustephen@gmail.com>wrote:
Goddam those theaters in Nairobi - WTF ??? Now we are going to lose Tron too !
We lost Dark Knight, Avatar, Toy Story 3...
They really do know how to trick the movie goers and raise the price - when I left college, it was around Ksh. 450, they pushed the price to Ksh. 470, 490, 500, 550, 600 ...
I hear they are now approaching Ksh. 700 - but there is no 3D in sight !!!!
Shame - for a top african city like Nairobi, 3D theater is a myth we only hear from those who watched :
"*Did you see Avatar in 3D, it was awesome *!!! " said my boss :-(
"*Watching it in 2D is nothing *!!!"
(I had a good mind of going to coast over Christmas, unfortunately, my shags is in the opposite direction)
