[Skunkworks] VPS hosting

Hi guys, I am looking for a reliable VPS host - i.e. Virtual Server host. Please recommend any that you have used that is reliable and cost effective for a basic application, meaning its not space/memory/bandwidth intensive. The entry level service will do just fine. I have already checked out Safaricom locally would but would like to check out other options. Thanks, George
