Hi peeps, Kindly asking if someone can give me the correct technical terms for the scenario I will describe below, so that I can do a more targeted research...
I have a web application hosted on two servers. One server is out there in the cloud, and the other is in an organization's LAN. The one in the LAN obviously can only be accessed in the LAN.
I want a setup where if you type the address of the application AND are within the LAN, you get redirected to the LAN one, but if you are outside the LAN, you proceed to the cloud one.
My assumption is that this can be achieved at the network configuration level, but I could be wrong.
So, what is the technical term for this kind of network level configuration?
