Bernard, I was not implying that cisco doesn't support QOS on Ethernet interfaces. What I meant is if your isp is giving you say 4mbps internet link and interface to your cpe is Fast Ethernet(100mbps), when your 4mbps pipe is full the cpe doesn't see this congestion as its communicating to the adjacent device at 100mbps. So even when QOS rules are there it doesn't enforce them since in essence there is enough capacity to pass all traffic. If your link is terminated on Ethernet to the cisco, then its no use prioritizing. The router will never sense congestion on the 100mbps interface and therefore not employ QOS. But your ISP should be able to prioritize your inbound traffic for you.
