Seems HP has purchased the network equipment make 3COM. I still remember the good old days when 3COM and USRobotics ruled the IT world. But now this is the end of a sad chapter in te book of what was one of the great equipment makes of the 90s. I just wonder what HP is up to. Now they have surpassed IBM in revenues, what do they really want? Are consumers going to benefit by having a large company like HP dominate the computes, printers, services and networking industry?
