Anyway, what happened to the Tuesday Skunkworks get-togethers? Someone should organize something before the end of the year. At least we can get to meet and know our fellow practitioners in the field.

 

Skunkworks has grown to be one of the leading loose forums of ICT professionals in Kenya, and I always feel people here are very professional and helpful and I can say it has been a great resource for me.

 

Many have raised the issue of formalizing Skunkworks in to a society, but I believe what is great about Skunkworks is the informal nature where all are free to operate. Many people in Tech disdain structures, so I have always felt a formal setup would put off many.

 

And Kudos to the early founders, Josiah, Riyaz and the rest.
