very good idea. if you charge a 9v battery (with solar) then connect it to a Nikola Tesla kinda circuit, you can power a halogen light the whole night. i think i should join this project.
BTW i saw a totally wrecked hybrid prius being towed away in the morning around industrial area, i think the battery is a good deep cycle one if it were not hit.
