Stephen, I come from Kisauni, Mombasa. I've seen the effects first hand. I have family members and former class-mates who have are hooked onto a myriad of hard-core drugs. Any time you visit Mombasa, take time to tour the Old Town area (Mji wa Kale), with the eyes open on the architecture and the people (especially the youth) :) Just a few of those affected folks successfully go through the rehab process.
