Actually any business can be started on 100k, even a military manufacturing outfit....it just depends on how passionate you are about it and how long you are willing to wait
I don't believe this is true. Passion counts and quality of ideas count, but the most important thing is always the quality of execution. Some things simply cannot be executed well without significant initial capital. Attempting to build certain businesses without the necessary capital will just be an exercise in frustration. Your first entrepreneurial venture should always be something that can be bootstrapped with as little initial capital as possible.
