Hi guys, 

To all of you who own a locked huawei modem, good news is that you can unlock it today free of charge

To unlock your modem post your modem IMEI in this thread

I will generate the unique unlock key from the provided IMEI (only for today) 

Then put a different network subscriber sim card other than the one its locked to you will get a prompt asking you for network unlock key.

Key in the unlock digits and presto your modem is now unlocked.

You can thereafter use any subscriber sim of your choice. Remember to go to tools menu, options, then  profile management and create an entry that corresponds to your preferred network operator.

actually the only parameter u need to change for the different providers is the APN
