Adam,
For the next meeting, we can host on meetup..does look like it has everything we need to start off...

If anyone has used and knows the interface maybe they can help us customize a page, have a look at all the features etc....

I know it's more fun to have a custom setup, but EANOG is the perfect candidate for something like Meetup.com.  As an example, here is a Cisco group in NY:

Using that site makes it easy to communicate with members who are coming to the physical meetup, to post pictures for publicity, and to make it easier for other network operators outside of Kenya to communicate with the group.  In addition, it's much cheaper and involves less work than a custom setup.

Hey guys,

So for EANOG I am having an interesting issue. We need a low end server to host the site, where to host is sorted, I just need to get/buy/sponsor a low end server for this ie the sponsorship funding to buy it is also sorted. I just want this out of the way as soon as possible before end of March.

If anyone knows where I can get one please let me know.  Something rackable, that can serve us for a while as we gain traction and traffic increases.
