Such spammers must be dealt with ruthlessly to discourage this behaviour on the part of group admins to subscribe people against their will. If they realize their groups will be reported and ultimately banned this might make them more careful

Just login to your gmail.com account, then open groups.google.com on another tab and unsubscribe from the group. Then edit your prefs so that you are not subscribed to _ANY_ other group without your approval.
