Wash; I went through that once at a famous call center on Mombasa rd. I quit in protest when they capped the commission on inbound and outbound sales and lowered the salary. I vowed never to go there again if the system is the same. The hard part is they even refused to pay me my terminal dues even after "giving" them two valuable months as I helped someone who was taking over from me, I invoked my lawyer who wrote the demand letter. 6 months probation is quite normal in Kenya. I've been through that 3 times. You think it's inhuman? Your friend accepted the salary, right? If your colleague feels shortchanged, it's time he quit. You know the dynamic of a capitalist economy, right?
