The hard part is they even refused to pay me my terminal dues even after "giving" them two valuable months as I helped someone who was taking over from me, I invoked my lawyer who wrote the demand letter. 6 months probation is quite normal in Kenya. I've been through that 3 times. You think it's inhuman? Your friend accepted the salary, right? If your colleague feels shortchanged, it's time he quit. You know the dynamic of a capitalist economy, right?
