To also go way off topic - was told of a story of this your lady driver who was told by her insurance never to admit liability. Well, she did cause one hell of an accident and refused to even talk to the victims since she could not admit liability - whatever happened to her you can guess - so I think, honesty counts when its necessary, but like Alex says, there are times when you can admit, but NOT on the dotted lines :-) @Wash, I thought you are the one who owes me the frothy fluids, now again its me, huh, ama you always put your money in the past and future and never in the present - 'Yesterday I was buying, where were you, nunua moja leo, and please, look for me tomorrow.' ./Ok3ch 2009/4/23 Odhiambo ワシントン <odhiambo@gmail.com>

hehehe, Wash, before I say whether I'll sue or not, lemmi talk this
to me lawyers for advise!!! Or maybe we just settle for the beer :-)
Out of court settlement is a win-win situation :-)
You put yourself in this bad fix by admitting. You are now pleading for 'Ruaraka' mercy:) Basically, you handed Oketchukwu the upper hand he now commands over you.
Yes, that guy owes me "Ruaraka" mercy big time! I was just reminding him :)
Whenever in disputatious circumstances never ever issue a voluntary written apology. Their lawyers use that as an admission of guilt on your part and the judge rules against you. I've even known several threatened with legal action unless they apologise and once they do, they still sue you thoroughly. An ISP tried this out on me in 2003/4 - even got their lawyer write me a letter demanding an apology, from whom, me? nop! :-)
Good point. Never admit liability even when it is more than obvious. You simply throw conscience away, like our politicians, and continue with life.
Is there something really wrong with owning up?? Shouldn't that make society better, even when you suffer the consequences?
