Had a slow afternoon so spent doing some reading on the various above. What a disappointment that despite access to good education, universities and open exposure to the information age, we are still where time left us - ABSOLUTELY STANDING STILL, somewhere maybe thousands to a few million years ago. Absolutely nothing, not even any medical breakthroughs which is quite frustrating to realize. How many more generations and generations is it going to need? I suspect it may never happen. In current times ( say the past 100 years ), those who are wealthy can only think of becoming better enterprenuers while those at the middle and bottom end clearly seem to follow the same cycle. In another 1000 years, what will be written ? It may seem harsh but true.

 

These are some thots: Why did time stand still? Why people cannot see this and know we have place in history. I think the next time one thinks of blaming doctors, lawyers of being too commercially driven despite taking oaths to their professions to serve human kind, know this : They are just doing what was taught to them i.e entreprenuership and investments. They will not improve or enchance their fields of expertise except those driven by eg Universities. To take this argument even further, what is corruption if not an extension of entreprenuership because people place themselves in positions to practise self financial empowerment through various mis-deeds.

 

I ask you these straight questions. Did you invent fire? No! Did you invent gun powder? No! Did you go to your metal foundry today and create a bronze or metal device to further human kind? No! Did you do anything at all in the Information Age...... No!

 

So keeping it simple and some food for thought for those who have a deeper thinking on issues. As usual, the disclaimer I can add is that these are just my amatuer views.
