
Hallo, To answer some of the questions here - the reason why engineers are not on call - is because Telcos employ very few engineers - usually less than 5 - sometimes 1 or 2 - to deal with the mobile internet data. The very main reason is cost cutting. The idea is to keep a few engineers in the network and raise only serious issues to Vendors. The problem with this is that - sometimes, the engineers kept in the network are 'token' engineers who cannot or do-not solve issues forward to them. They are mostly there to raise emails to Vendors rather than solving the issues themselves. Sometimes the Telcos get good engineers who can actually solve the issues - but are unable to keep these because they are expensive. Back to the thread at hand - when you call Orange Customer care with your issue - most of the time you hang up with disappointed amazement.
