Still doing blindscan, 4 transponders so far, did not even move the dish, so waiting to see quality of signal before considering playing around with the dish. On other news, now that I am likely to get K24 on this C band, ill have an extra lnb in the system to play around with, should i retain it in the 8' pointed to IS22 or get it some squatting space in the 6' pointed to Nilesat? This is IS 22. PAS 4 does not carry TV services at the moment. (not sure its still active.) It could be that IS 22 is Co-located at the same orbital slot with PAS 4.

You might be having a problem on the two satellites because polarization. The two satellites are on circular polarization, therefore you need dielectric plate.
Instead of pointing to either of above satellite, just point to Intelsat 22 at 72.1°E (C band - circular polarization. No KU beam covering Africa).
Incase you are in Nairobi point to below:
Azimuth = 91.17 Degrees Elevation = 49.95 Degrees
