I actually experienced this first hand...

I innocently tried to set up an existing Company (full of engineers ) by hooking them up to Mpesa.

So I asked whether Safcom has a till that only dispenses money, but does not receive deposits to serve these traveling  engineers with cash from the office instead of the Company always banking on Mpesa kiosks with "no float" or they using ATM cards out in the field....

My question was not answered - which I found a bit rude - instead they sent these 5 or 6 documents with the same legal jargon about "taking your idea and you can do jack to us ...." blah blah...

That they will get back to me.... blah blah...

Suffice to say,, they never got back to me. I was suddenly treated like some sort of enemy,, no further communication, no response to subsequent emails...


And seriously, i dint care about the stupid idea - I just wanted to know whether I can do business.

Mabbe the idea was tried out with other pilot companies -- but the guy who wanted it --- Policy "QUARANTINE HIM !!!!"
