I think what Lidede is trying to say is that it has to come out that you have done at least some research on your own and have some idea and direction of what you want to do, so that when you ask, you are very specific on what you are asking eg. "How do I build a website to accept a login and send an sms to confirm?" And "I'm running my website on a xampp and have the database and web pages in place. Im looking at how to send sms messages automatically from my debian linux server. I have looked at several GSM modems (both usb and serial) but cannot find out how to use it on linux. Can someone point me to a GSM modem and some basic scripting I can use to send an sms through it?" Are two very different questions, one might show that you haven't done any research at all, and the other shows that you have actually done something and you are stuck at some point, I think the second one would receive more replys than the first...
