I agree with you Clement that after notes then discussions and lecturers are significant but my issue was/is when you go to class and a lecturer dictates the notes (notes that date back to the 80s) to you and that ends there. In my opinion learning does not take place. Its even worse when, in exams, the lecturer expects you to repeat word 4 word whats in the notes.
