These are personal opinions, so pls correct as necessary : - Certifying the app. NSE cannot certify it. NSE data starts and ends within its premises, unless NSE has made a deal with Nelly to distribute content. That would be anti-competitive. CMA needs to look into about the data vendor issues. So NSE or CMA need to comeout with techniques used for certification. Nelly code is a trade secret, which is fine and should be protected from trollers but must also comply with data integrity and availability issues. I think NSE, Nelly data have to comeup with an interim measure to authenticate the data. One false data stream event could send the stock markets on a crash course, especially for those whose refer to sites and handsets for monitoring their investments. This is disaster waiting to happen. Rgds.
