does that mean those with certificates for the blacklisted courses will be revoked?...no...i believe they should be judged by their competence....in any case, i echo Dennis' comment...degree for papers -

I have no words to describe the (insert word here) the government displays with such a move

1. Most universities listed are public universities
2. The reasons listed are fairly easy to resolve- Curriculum problem (update!) lack of lecturers (recruit! with what people are paying for private tuition I believe they can even afford expartriate lecturers, all universities worldwide do it)

So why would a government shoot itself in the foot rejecting these courses on the basis of the points above? Or is it the two governments syndrome that we are facing? And what are they saying about the people who have studied these courses? I see no recommendations on the way forward.

Interesting READ - According to Engineers Registration Act Cap 530
only registered engineers that are authorised to practice and offer
engineering professional services in the country.

As ERB has pointed out, it is apparent that most universities in the
country are pursuing the path to make technician courses to be degree
programmes. But it is necessary to draw a bold line to establish the
difference between technicians and engineers.''

No wonder there are so many ''UNIVERSITIES''...........

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.As we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
