Torrents works - I have never had issues with server software, even Windows, downloaded from torrents - Any person can get into a server environment as long as the systems are weak. To me security is about the administrator and nothing less.

You serious?  You set up a server from torrent software? They are always rigged for mischievous purpose. Why would someone take such effort to share software illegally without any gain on their side?

Either way, there is no good reason torrent, buy if you need none open source software.
