
It has happened to me though not on QB but Airtel. I receive a call with a rather short looking number +2547xx. I pick it and some voice-over goes on and on about Fashion Alerts (for Christ's sake, who needs premium services on how to dress!). Now annoyed, I disconnect the call and immediately receive a text that I have been subscribed.Thinking it's a joke, I immediately go back to something more important (than fashion). The next day I receive a silly fashion tip, On day two, I get another one I decide to check my airtime balance and realize I am being deducted KES 10.00 on a daily basis.
