Hi guys and gals,
Bad start to the long weekend. My HP Pavilion DV6000 just died.
I last used it two nights ago and it was fine. When I power on, the
LEDs come on but it doesn't attempt to boot, hard drive stays
strangely quiet, and the display doesn't seem to get powered. I've
tried with an external display as well.
I've removed the HDD and backed up my important stuff to another
machine. Looks like a HW problem but I don't think it's the mobo. Have
tried the memory as well, no joy.
Ideas needed before I dismantle the whole jingamathing.
