That trend is taking shape as we speak. This has been initiated by the launching of the Tegra 2 Dual-Core processor by Nvidia and is used by the Motorola Xoom (a tablet) and the LG Optimus 2X (My next android phone) at CES 2011 in Las Vegas. The fone comes with a 1Ghz dual core processor and eats the iphone4 for lunch. It's only a matter of time before we see PC-grade processors in smart phones.
