I actually met someone sometime back who had a prototype of the N9.. that is a kick ass phone, I was really impressed. Nokia hasn't abandoned Meego, its a significant part of their strategy particularly regarding Research and Development.
They will be releasing a Meego device as a prototype to every new Windows phone upgrade.
QT will power all these platforms including possibly android making the first cross-platform compatible apps.
Its pretty smart.
