I don't know why some guys here are complaining about the IDEOS. Mine has never had any problem. As for battery life, switch off your WIFI

when not necessary and install Battery doctor app to manage your battery.

This phone is just great! At just Kshs 8500 = GREAT PHONE+ 1000 AIRTIME + 600MB DATA.

Which Nokia/Samsung acts like a wireless router, has WIFI, has GPS, acts like a 3G modem, Bluetooth, fully touch screen and has thousands apps 

to choose from for Kshs 6500 (8500 minus 1k airtime and 1k data)?

This phone is now a threat to the likes of Samsung Galaxy whose price is over 5 times. I can't wait for Huawei IDEOS Reloaded.  Maybe its gonna

be the next big thing in phones.

Long story short - any model of phone will have (some) faulty units which need warranty replacement - especially if they are moving in the quantities that the IDEOS is moving!

for $100 this is probably the next best thing after sliced bread!!!!

Summary.
android is increasing its market share.
huawei is increasing sales and getting more recognition.
safaricom get more data sales however not entirely true because the phone is not locked to safcom.
I have a smart phone(with ANDROID). I win.
