Just one recommendation. If nobody takes the CMS issue up, lets go with drupal. It runs out of the box with forums, blogs and content posting. Themes are very flexible and adding further functionality like weighted posts does not need any information change, just a module. I can happily work on the install to add functionalityand hopefully, there are more drupalers on this list.
