While on this CLID issue, a solution I was doing somewhere recently a client requested that we display numbers of sim cards he had bought.
The client currently has an ISDN from QB.
Is it possible on asterisks without involving the telco to display the sim card numbers on outbound calls using the ISDN?
In my opinion it is would be a security nightmare, but the client who originates from the extreme south of this continent claims it happens there

Most likely, that was an incoming VoIP call.

The most common CLID implemented by the VoIP service providers is multiple zeros (000 or 0000)

I have recently noted one German provider who interestingly uses CLID's that resemble YuMobile numbers (075*******) for calls terminating into Kenya.

Tony.
