The KPLC system is suspect according to me. They need to have portal where someone can check their account payments and how the units allocated were worked out. I think they apply the usual standing charge of 120 sh monthly and depending on when you last recharged your meter the standing charge might be applied. For example if you paid 2500sh in January and the units last you up-to April then the you will be charged 120 sh per month for the last 3 months upfront when you purchase more units hence you get way less units. Hmm, that's an interesting one. Wonder what is the purpose of that restriction. To avoid some kind of cheating or technical limitations?
So what happen if someone by a token and loose it before loading ? Happen a couple of times to me but with cellphone. Shopping at Nakumatta, I get the receipt and throw it on my way out forgetting that receipt also double as airtime token.
